Text Box: Text Box: 	Chasity is a Manchester, Tennessee native.  She received an academic scholarship to attend college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  In 1995, Chasity graduated with honors  with a B.A. in English after completing her honor’s thesis entitled “Battered Woman’s Syndrome, Finding Her Voice in Legal Discourse.”  In 1999 Chasity graduated  from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee.  While attending law school, Chasity received scholarships to study a semester abroad attending the Katholieke Universiteit Brabant (Tilburg University Faculty of Law) in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
	
	Chasity began practicing law in May 2000 as an associate attorney in a private firm in Manhattan, Kansas.  In this position, she served as an associate attorney, as an assistant city-attorney and as a city prosecutor for the City of Manhattan.  In May 2001, Chasity was selected into the United States Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  Her first day of active duty at Fort Riley, Kansas was September 11, 2001.

	Chasity’s first assignment in the JAG Corps was as a reserve Special Assistant States Attorney and Chief of Claims in which she was responsible for the administration of all claims against the U.S. Government and affirmative claims brought on behalf of the U.S. Government in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.  The majority of Chasity’s military career was spent as Fort Riley’s only labor counselor in which she provided legal and managerial advice on all labor and employment issues for a 2,500+ civilian workforce.  She also litigated before the Equal Employment Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board and the Federal Labor Relations Authority on behalf of the Department of the Army.

	After leaving the Army, Chasity spent a year working on the renovations of the Wilkinson-Keele House.  Since renovations have been completed, Chasity and John opened the Law Office of Nicoll & Nicoll.  Since then, Chasity has practiced primarily in the areas of criminal and employment law.  Notably, Chasity recently obtained over a $70,000.00 judgment for a client on an employment discrimination action filed in federal court.

	She is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  She now practices in the areas of employment law and criminal law.  In addition to her legal duties, Chasity has also served as President for the Coffee County Humane Society and as a board member for the Honors College at MTSU.  She currently is a board member of the Manchester Arts Commission.
