	John E. Nicoll is originally from Salisbury, Maryland. He received a four-year ROTC scholarship to attend college at the Furman University located in Greenville, South Carolina.  In 1996, John graduated Magna Cum Laude from Furman with a B.A. in Accounting, and received an academic delay from the United States Army to attend law school. In 1999, John graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law.  While in law school, John received several academic honors including Dean’s List, Highest Honors, Two Certificates of Academic Excellence (Land Finance Law and Advocacy Clinic), and James L. Powers III Excellence in Criminal Advocacy Award (1998-1999 Year).  He also placed 2nd in the Ray Jenkins Mock Trial Competition. 
	John began his legal career in January 2000 for the United States Judge Advocate General’s Corps.   He spent four years at Fort Riley, Kansas in which he acted as a legal assistance attorney, administrative law attorney, trial counsel, senior trial counsel, and chief of justice.  Most of John’s time in the Army was devoted to being a criminal prosecutor.  During his time at Fort Riley, John successfully prosecuted over 150 federal felony cases for crimes such as murder, shaken-baby syndrome, rape, arson, theft, child molestation, and drug crimes; and he served as lead counsel in several jury trials, judge alone trials, and sentencing hearings. 
	After being honorably discharged from the Army in 2004, John dedicated a year working on the renovation of the Wilkinson-Keele house. During this time, he expanded his legal skills by working various short term legal assignments for Counsel on Call.  
	In 2005, after renovations on the Wilkinson-Keele house were complete, John resumed the full-time practice of law.  He is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee, the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  He now practices in the areas of criminal law, civil litigation, family law, business, real estate, and wills & estates.

Chasity C. Nicoll

Text Box: 	Chasity C. Nicoll is a Manchester, Tennessee native.  She received an academic scholarship to attend college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  In 1995, Chasity graduated with honors  with a B.A. in English after completing her honor’s thesis entitled “Battered Woman’s Syndrome, Finding Her Voice in Legal Discourse.”  In 1999 Chasity graduated  from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee.  While attending law school, Chasity received scholarships to study a semester abroad attending the Katholieke Universiteit Brabant (Tilburg University Faculty of Law) in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
	Chasity began practicing law in May 2000 as an associate attorney in a private firm in Manhattan, Kansas.  In this position, she served as an associate attorney, as an assistant city-attorney and as a city prosecutor for the City of Manhattan.  In May 2001, Chasity was selected into the United States Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  Her first day of active duty at Fort Riley, Kansas was September 11, 2001.
	Chasity’s first assignment in the JAG Corps was as a reserve Special Assistant States Attorney and Chief of Claims in which she was responsible for the administration of all claims against the U.S. Government and affirmative claims brought on behalf of the U.S. Government in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.  The majority of Chasity’s military career was spent as Fort Riley’s only labor counselor in which she provided legal and managerial advice on all labor and employment issues for a 2,500+ civilian workforce.  She also litigated before the Equal Employment Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board and the Federal Labor Relations Authority on behalf of the Department of the Army.
	After leaving the Army, Chasity spent a year working on the renovations of the Wilkinson-Keele House.  Since renovations have been completed, Chasity has resumed the full-time practice of law in the areas of employment law, domestic relations, criminal law and real estate.
